Some meters away from the Simferopol – Feodosia
highway, on the edge of the village of Topolyovka, hidden in the wood under the
high Crimean pines, there is a recreational camp Ak-su, that in Crimean Tatar
means "White Water", because the beds
of two campsite springs, striking from the 1200 meters deep water-source, is a
mixture of limestone and silicon.Their water is healthy, cool and delicious. The spring runs in the shade of an enormous 70-year-old hazel tree. It is always fresh there and the air is filled up with odors of the forest herbs and pine trees.
The recreational site admits about 40 tourists. On the big glade there are wooden tables and banks, a barbecue place, fireplace with bundles of woods, camping and toilets. No waste and garbage removing problems. There is also a special "Lovers' corner" and children playground.
